    I think that the Hawks will be in the playoff next year and they will need grit to go forward. They have made a run with Shaw in the past and they remember it. Montréal is retaining a major part of his three year salary. That is why it requiers a prospect. Montréal is also adding a 4th round pick.

    why would MTL trade a 2 time 20 goal scorer when they NEED scorers for a 2nd rounder....the trade makes no sense.
