Just thought a young defensemen who can run (at least) a second unit powerplay and two established top six wingers plus a first overall pick is equivalent to a number one defence man on a team that needs point producers.

Yeah it is a pretty brutal trade.

-1st off It's a first rd pick not (first over all) Huge diffrence
-McArthur played 4 games last year and the year before scored 36 points. that's a easy to find bergevin is pretty good at that.
-Ryan is a bad contract
-Subban is the highest scorer in the deal and he's a dman. so how does that help our scoring issues?
-Subban was on the ice for 65% of the habs goals before his injuries so trading him hurts or scoring
-Habs get older in this deal
-Habs are not going to trade PK to a division rival so he can kick our asses 4-5 times a year plus playoffs

Yes this is a brutal trade and you know it. If the habs are going to trade Subban it would be for a lot more than this. And not in division.

I think you made this to troll Habs fans. Also nice to put PK on the 2nd pair because the Subban-Karlsson arguement is always fun.

Excellent troll job. 5 stars for that

Yeah, imo if we do trade subban I really only seeing it going to Edmonton, they're the only team that has an excess of offensive talent, especially if they win the draft, to pay the right price for a number one defenceman.

Ok....If i'm honest has fans. It would look more like Ceci instead of Wideman, and Pageau instead of MacArthur (cause he's french so not Zibanejad)
