Is he worth 5 mil more per year? HELL NO

That trade is insane. And throwing in a 1st,a 3rd, McCarron and Petry. Why stop there take Price and Subban and Chucky and Gally and Youppi! why not throw in The ghosts of the forum they aun't doing much these days anyway.

Eh, trade doesn't really make sense from the habs side, they have a number one centre in Galchenyuk, and I don't think they would give all of those assets just to get Malkin. Hes a great player but Id rather have mcarron, pacioretty, petry and a top 10 pick in the draft.

Pens would not be interested in that trade. Petry is overpaid. Why would they have to include a 2nd round pick?
