Another trade with Mika in it...

Guys..KEVIN HAYES IS LEAVING..., he's gone by the deadline, write it down! Where is the logic in trading Mika at this point?

The Ottawa deal is horrible from the Rangers standpoint. First, they are under no urgency at all to move Smith, for what? Cap space they already have? If anything, the Rangers are hoping he can bounce back and provide some stability on a very shaky back end. They are much better suited letting Smith rebound this year, then moving him for a much better return.

About the only deal that makes any sense is the Zucc trade, which I would say should have the 1st turned into a 2nd. Columbus is high on Milano, their not going to give up a 1st as well. And that still would come down to whether or not Columbus feels they need a RW.

Its a good thing these armchair GM's don't actually do this for real..
