Totally personal opinion but I don't think Hamonic is worth Nugent Hopkins straight across but it fits both teams needs except no one is going to take Grabovski @5mil/year till 2018 . Good trade I'd ask for Dal Colle too if Edmonton eats Grabovski Huge contract for a 3rd liner.

A couple of things…you're going to pay Cizikas $1M more to play 4th line Center as compared to Strome's $1.8M to play a top six forward roll? I think there is a good chance that Hamonic is dealt to Edmonton, but not for Nugent-Hopkins. Why trade your top minute defenseman for another natural Center? The Isles are loaded at that position with JT, Nelson, Strome and Cizikas. And I think there is a solid chance that the Isles resign Nielson as well. Would like to see Isles move Grabovski and Bailey. They will need to fill KO's RW position should he walk, which I think is a very good possibility. Lucic has said that he wants to stay in LA, but money talks and if LA can't do it, he would look real good on JT's LW. Move Hammer to Edmontin, I'd rather take Yakupov and put him on the right side.
