Yeah, except that "offensive black hole" led all centres on our team in even-strength points (playing 17 fewer games than Drouin)! There were many problems with our team last year but Plekanec as our 3C was not one of them. The tank would have been better served by NOT signing Plek, since he is a perennial plus player and good defensively. Thankfully that loser mentality is not something the Habs are seeking. If it happens, fine, but to intend to finish last is the last thing this team wants.
