I would love to see this trade happen for Montreal. That would mean they do not draft Kotkaniemi. They could go for Zadina or Tkachuk instead.

Also, Lekhonen, Hudon, and Scherbak would get the promotion that they need to further their development.

Signing Statsny could be interesting too in UFA.. Or Bozak.

With Gaudreau and Tkachuk, they don't need to trade for another LW...it's Gallagher they want...

I don't see Calgary doing this trade. I would see a playoff contender looking to pick up a veteran player where Pacioretty would put them over the top, not a team that is going through a transition.

With Poehling coming in next Season, we could have a good C line with him, Jank, Danault and DLR. But with Patch and CHucky out, we will need some scoring somewhere.... Zadina fills this need starting next season
