        So give up a 1st round pick, the most coveted asset of any GM, AND a 2nd round pick, just to unload Lucic. I don't know why they allow kids to post here, it's embarrassing to us real oiler fans

        I agree: No enough for Chucky... Yakamoto + 1st for Chucky will be the minimum.
        Maybe adding Lucic to MTL with 2M retain for 2nd pick.

        I checked a few of your proposed Oilers teams and saw nothing remotely sensible about ways of moving Lucic out. No other team is going to touch him without some serious incentives. The guy is a 230 pound $6M x 5 years ANCHOR who's contract will limit everything the Oilers try to do for the next 2-3 years to build support around their key players. That 1st round pick I'm suggesting to help move Lucic out is in 2021 - Oilers with McDavid / Draisatl etc. had better be a top 5 team by then (or those guys will probably want out...) so the pick is likely #25 or later. Got a better idea? Kids like me need to learn from your genius.
