- Sign Smith, Dickinson, Shore, and Heatherington
- No to Hutton. Good goalie, too much money for a backup. Go after someone like Khudobin or even Lehtonen for $1.5M
- Get Spezza off of the 2nd line. Kovalchuk-Faksa/Janmark-Radulov should be the 2nd line with this lineup
- Gurianov won't start the year in the NHL. He's been a healthy scratch for the last 4 games in the Calder Cup Playoffs
- Assuming the Stars sign all of the RFA's listed above (which they will) it's going to be tough to fit Hintz into the lineup unless they move a couple of pieces (*cough cough* Ritchie)
- You're paying Elie way too much. He played 72 games last year, but he's not a $2M a year kind of guy. He's a grinding depth guy that should see $1.25M MAX
- Nichushkin is making too much as well. He'll get a $2M bridge deal and then they'll reevaluate after the deal is over
- Not gonna buy out Hanzal. That's a 4-year commitment for a guy isn't too difficult to trade, if the Stars insist on getting rid of him.

I think your mind is in the right spot, but a lot of these moves just don't make a ton of sense from a logistical standpoint.
