Oddly enough I don't actually mind this lol...the only thing is there may too many long term contracts on hand for too long. If we're not a playoff team there isn't much use in signing Statsny or keeping Weber around. I'd love to acquire Vancouver's pick!

Montreal needs to provide a competitive team the long terms contract are ok it gives the time to prepare the prospects for the NHL since all of them would be in there entry level contract.

Not disagreeing entirely but Erkisson, Lucic and Bobby Ryan should or could be near the bottom 6....Zadina and Scherbak should get top 6 minutes not 6 minutes a night. We'll see I guess ?
