You're really underpaying on the EDM and BUF trades. Why would Buffalo want to give you ROR for a bunch of nothing and a not top 10 pick?

I think i dont see ror value as high as many... at 7.5 per, i find him quite expensive for what he is... i might over value lekhonen as i see him as a potential 25 goal scorer... but i agree we could add a better prospect instead of scherback and the second.

As for edmonton, getting rid of lucic contract is important for them snd no doubt pacioretty would sign an extension with them. Primeau might also be a steal as is progression is ovetwhelming for a 7 rd pick... he was a top goalie in ncaa rhis year! Overall maybe underpaying a little but not that far off i would think

Because that's what ROR worths... Don't be surprised if Buf receive even less than that for guy that has said « I've lost my passion for hockey since i'm here».

I don't mind the Edmonton trade but it's not worth losing klefbom at all in my opinion plus max will cost a good 8 million if kane got 7

Five stars for wanting O'Reilly.
I like to compare current offers for O'Reilly to what DATM gave up to get him. This is a very difficult task in this case, but here is my estimate:
Lehkonen, A. = Compher
Lindgren, C. + 2018 2nd round pick (TOR) < Zadorov
Scherbak, N. = Grigoranko
2019 1st round pick (MTL) > 2015 31st over all
I think Montreal would need to add to this trade.

Good way to look at it. But i would argue that the value of oreilley today is lower than at the time of the buffalo/colorado trade. I highly doubt buffalo gets an equal offer for an older and a little overpaid oreilley.
