What happened to Lehner?

Mete is off limits. Like, we would almost trade Price before him. Galchenyuk would kind of be the focal point of the trade, but then we would be offering our 1st round or something, so I don't think we can make a deal for O'Reilly, that would satisfy both teams. Buff is asking too much for a soft 20 goal scorer.

I'll meet you half way on JVR give him 6 mill a year, trade lehner to Philly for a second who is strapped for a goalie, and a second back in the ROR deal is very likely... That trade is comparable to the Mike Richards deal (Simmonds, Schenn, and a 2nd) and even though that was a while ago I think that blueprint holds up for a player of ROR's caliber and the fact they need help down the middle in MTL.

Mete might be a tough sell but gotta give to get so I don't think it would be entirely off the table. We could throw another prospect back possibly if necessary. But ROR is considered a top center in the league still and the habs need a lot of help there, sometimes supply and demand can force your hand a little. But again this is just a lofty want as a Sabres fan lol
