Jets would have loads of talent up front, top 4 D, and solid goaltender locked up long term.

2019 Off-season Cap management Plan
- Trade Perrault (I like him but Vesalainen/Appleton can take his place on ELC)
- Trade Kulikov (if he's healthy in 2018-19 should be easy...if not we can attach a 3rd round and ship to a team that is rebuilding)
- Let Mason and Chiarot walk as UFA's
- Stuart's buyout comes off the books
- Trade Copp (or Armia) for picks and/or prospect (I like them but every $$ counts)
- Wheeler's 5.6 mill comes off the books (but we'll resign him)

That should leave us about 20 million to ...
1. Re-sign Wheeler ,,,does he take a discount? (3 x 6 mill would be ideal....but he may want 4 yrs if not max money)
2. Sign Laine to 8 year deal (8 x 9mill?)
3. Sign Connor to bridge deal (3 x 3.75 mill)
