Overhauling the Back End (Bouchard edition) - CAR and VAN trades

Description
Playing around with a couple of MelnykOut's deals that I've seen in the past. His rationale on the Carolina trade:

Karlsson = 2OA + Lindholm
Hoffman + Condon = Pesce + 2018 2nd
Swap 2018 and 2019 picks (for the Canes to get Grubauer)
I've added in the 2020 pick swap since PIT's 1st is significantly higher than expected, since retaining on Karlsson lets the Canes take a run at JT (unlikely) or move Hanifin for a 1C (much more likely).

The VAN trade only happens if Zadina is not available at #4. Draft Bouchard at #7.

Mrazek signing is for 1 year - re-evaluate goaltending after next season to see Gus/Hogberg's progress, possibly extending Mrazek beyond if neither is ready.

If they want Brown to play 1C in Belleville, Chlapik can be swapped in.

Trade value seems good but I think Carolina needs to insure a contract extension somehow even though they cannot negotiate until after the draft. But with that retained salary Karlsson at $3M does bring back a lot of value.

Could definitely add some conditions to the 2019 pick. If Carolina extends Karlsson before the 2019 draft, Ottawa receives a 2019 1st (CAR); if Karlsson is extended/re-signed between the 2019 draft and the beginning of the 2019-20 season, Ottawa receives a 2020 1st (CAR) and a 2020 3rd (CAR) to compensate for the deferral. If Karlsson does not sign an extension or re-sign with Carolina, Ottawa receives... something. Possibly a 2020 3rd (CAR)? Not sure on the value there.

Each team has their own draft list. If the Canucks think that one (or more) of Ottawa, Arizona, or Detroit is interested in the guy they like, I could see them pulling the trigger. Not to mention that they could feel that a 24-year old Ceci fits their window better than a 28 year-old Tanev, and at a lower cost for longer (since Tanev will be looking for a raise after next season).
