Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Vancouver drops 3 spots to 10th and gets the 22nd pick. Sens get the 7th and EDM gets Hoffman. (Basic structure of the 3 way deal. I don't think Hoffman goes 1 for 1 for the 10th but Charelli) Full disclosure, I got this idea from another sens fan using DET but they already have 2 1st round picks from Vegas Tatar trade and are probably happier sitting at 6th instead of adding the 22nd.

This deal would probably be contingent upon who is available to Vancouver at #7 and if they feel they can acquire a similar caliber player at #10.

Ottawa may have to add more than less. This scenario is on the assumption Hoffman nets you the 10th Overall 1 for 1. Picks at 4 and 7 could mean 2 of Hughes, Boquist, Walhstrom and Tkachuk. Would the sens feel the loss of Hoffman's skill next year? Absolutely. It would be a huge hole, especially after how well he played with Duchene. This draft appears to be filled with blue chip prospects to at least the top 7 maybe top 10.
