Sabres switch to royal blue jerseys.

Eichel “C” - Switches to #9
O’Reilly “A”
Okposo “A”

Could swap Olofsson with Smith, Rodrigues or Nylander if he’s not ready.

OEL agrees to sign 7.5 mil x 8 year contract extension with BUF before trade.

After 18-19 ROR drops to 3rd line C and Mittelstadt goes into top 6. Also OEL+Dahlin become top pair after Dahlin’s rookie season.

May seem cap strapped a bit but Pomminville and Hagelin contracts expire at end of season saving 10 mil also cap limit should increase soon.

i had a comment about OEL needing to be extended before making that trade, but then I looked above under "team explanation" where you said he was so I deleted the comment

Idk if that would be enough for OEL, depending how Arizona feels about Bogo. If hes a cap dump to them thats a no go. If Bogo is expected to be a 2RHD i think that can go through. Maybe upgrade Girgensons to a decent prospect like Fasching, who youre giving away for free. Carolina would say no and I also dont like that deal for many reasons as well. I know keeping ROR is also contentious amongst sabres fans, so its good to see more builds that are keeping him now
