Matthews: Unless he pots 50, and wins the Hart next year, he should be making as much as McDavid. Its still 1.5 more than Eichel, and I think he's exactly in between the 2
Marner: This is a high end number. Right now he should get under 7 (Pastranak put up 70 and 8- pts last 2 years and he makes 6,666,667. if he waits till next summer and goes off, he should get up to 7.5
Kapanen: Again this is a high end number...Brown scored 20 his contract year and only got 2.1, give Kappy 2.5 Max for 2 year and again its a "prove it" contract.
I imagine Leivo, Grundstom battling for that last spot.

If Borgman/Liljegren aren't ready cheap depth D options aren't crazy hard to find (see Lovejoy, Benn, Chariot, Girardi)

With Marleau's 6.25 coming off the books, 2.5 in cap space, increased cap, it should be enough to resign Pysyk, Brown, Dermott, etc.
