Description
A busy off-season made up of a few trades and a couple of signings, which makes for an aggressive yet manageable undertaking by MB and crew.

Some would say, that the UFA signings are a overpayment but fiscally looking at the amounts they are not too much of an increase to what they are respectfully making today. Plus with $3M left in capspace (considering the re-signing of Danault at around $3M/yr), it gives management sufficient wiggle room to make any mid-season adjustments (if needed)

I like the Vilardi+ Brown trade for Pacc... still think MTL need to add a signing protection for Pacc and a 2nd rn pick.
Brown would bring some leadership and gives L.A some cal space to sign back Doughty... I only hope Vilardi is as good has they say!
Big No for Johnson... we already have Alzner who is very slow don't bring another slower LHD @ 5.5M for another 4y on top!!! please NO!!!!
Go After Carlson... younger and he can skate at least!
Fair contract for Statsny.

I don't think he would get anything like PK... probably a 7-7.5M MAX
Carlson is not the best defensively when TOPD like Doughty, Subban, Josi etc... are good everywhere!!!
Don't take it wrong... he as alot of value in this low FA market & I think 7,5M x 7 (35yo) is fair.

That is why its conditional. If the Kings benefit from an extended contract then the pick would turn into a 1st. fair for both sides.
