I like both trades for me!
Ott would be competitive the next season & Edm would have what they desperately need! I think Karlsson for Drais it is fair! and Nurse + Yakamoto for Hoffman as well. Good job!
Rangers would have a young C-core with Namestnikov + RNH... I like it and Edm would have a great 2C with skills and LW depth... fair as well IMO!

I also like the EDM/OTT swap. Ottawa gets younger and more cost controlled if they can get Nurse tied up long term. Edmonton gets immediately better, and still has RNH to hold down the 2C spot with Hoffman on McDavid's wing, which would be a crazy good duo imo.

1st one looks good and the 2nd one is kinda weird because both centres have high potential and are the same age but hopekins contract is a little worse and fast has been a solid top 9 that can slide into any line and plays a great 2 way game, I don't think this deal will go down unless nyr get a good prospect in return for fast on top of it or some better picks but pretty fair.
