Why we did what we did;
Goaltending; No change
Defence;
i.) Got rid of Benn because we had to cut ties with a LS D in order to obtain a RS D
ii.) Signed Sustr as kind of a platoon for Juulsen and Mete. Say Juulsen and Mete aren't quite ready yet, Rielly and Sustr will act as that safeguard. In the vent they are, i'm sure we could move one of them at the deadline for some sort of asset.

Forwards:
i.) Signing Tavares because signing him will put Mtl back in playoff contention, getting that elusive #1 centre
ii.) Moved Deslauriers to make roster/cap room
iii.) Signed Vermette for depth in the case we have to move Galchenyuk to RW and all centres slide up. In the event we want to keep Galchenyuk at #2C and Svechnikov needs more seasoning, Byron can move to #2 RW and Lehkonen and Hudon will move up the depth chart.
iv.) Drafted Svechnikov, going to start the year as the 2nd line RW, could move up or down
