Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Need to find a way to get rid of Spezza 7.5, I am not sure we could trade/buyout, but I think if you add some prospects and picks you can pry him away from MTL with only 1 year left on deal. I am not counting on Hanzal being back and healthy after back surgery, and don't know LTIR rules or if we get relief, so left him on roster. Resigned Kari as backup for short term while Point and Oettinger develop and can take backup role in Year 4 under Bishop. I'm letting more of the kids play on bridge deals with short term to see what they have. Patches adds secondary scoring, I bring Nuke back from Russia, and we still have 3.5 Million roughly to mess with depth scoring assuming the cap doesn't go up at all. Basically, my main goal was remove Spezza and add depth scoring.

Spazza value is almost a cap dump, a 3rd, a 4th, and two grade B prospects... So you think you can get a 30-35 goals scorer for this package?? It's like MTL give you Alzner, Juulsen, Lehkonen and 2 picks for Seguin or Benn...

Well Honka would be a main piece on their blue line for many years to come, he was a 1st round pick only 2 seasons ago. Ritchie is a solid NHL winger who could continue to develop into a 15-20 goal scorer in a few seasons, and yea Spezza is a cap dump, and we could also retain some salary to help get the deal done. Then you add in some picks for them as well. Patches isn't signed past this upcoming season, so there will be term consideration there as well. You could work the deal where one of the picks is conditional upon him resigning.

Honka is 22 years old, so he was draft 4 years ago, 4 pts and -1. He plays on the 3rd pairing.
Ritchie is 24 years old, 13 pts, +1 and I think he's healthy scratch right now.
Max Paciorretty value is higher than the Rick Nash value. Nash gives to NYR Ryan Spooner (high skilly player, more than Ritchie), Ryan Lindgren a very mobile defense (under Honka) so Honka+Ritchie+3rd = Spooner and Lindgren. Matt Beleskey, a small cap dump, a 1st and a 7th.

I could be wrong but I've heard that Spezza doesn't want to play in Canada. Also MTL is probably going to want a first round pick and since the draft is in Dallas I doubt that would be dealt.
