Buffalo listens, laughs at you then puts down the phone. Although Mantha is a good player you snag a decent prospect, a solid goalie, young defenseman, 3x depth player and a 2nd. Buffalo gets your trash contacts and Mantha.

Larkin is on Detroit... And I agree with you that Lehner is a decent goalie, most Sabres fans won't. I'm not in the camp that thinks Nylander will work out for Buffalo, I would rather move him for someone like Mantha. Beaulieu could get better, but right now he's spare parts on a bad Buffalo D, and if they get Dahlin, they'd have Dahlin, Guhle, McCabe, and Scandella above him. If you're talking about Antipin, I think he's depth at best. I think it might take a lot to pry Mantha away, so they need to take on Abdelkader. I think Helm would be great for Buffalo's 4th line, so I dont see him as a dump. The 2nd may be too much, I agree.

If only the team could get rid of Abdelkader and Helm that easily. Neither of them would get claimed off waivers if they were sent down to Grand Rapids, that's how much no other team wants those guys. Come to think of it, that would free up two roster spots and save minimum wage x 2 in cap space.
