I'm fairly confident that NYR can sign Skjei for less than that. he hasn't been great lately and citing comparables (Slavvin, Pesce, Larsson, Klefbom) I would try for 29-30M over 7 years or less term with the same AAV.

Zuccs is a nice player but philly is not giving up a 1st, a 2nd and a B prospect for him and you to take MacDonald's contract. Philly doesn't need cap space and only would consider this if they are 1 or 2 players away which they are not

But Tavares is hitting free agency... If they feel they have a chance with him, this would be possible.
