I used Arvidsson as a comparable. Arvy had 61 pts in his contract year, Reinharts going to have around 50. Similar defensively.

i think this is why bogosian needs to be bought out. there is no trade market for him and having to eat his whole salary for next year is money that could be spent on a free agent defenseman or winger. plus, we actually get a $500K credit for hogdson's buyout next season, so bogo only will cost about $600K, then 1.1 million, then 2 million for two more years. if the cap continues to rise we can better absorb that hit and we can simply walk away from him now, use the money to get carlson or assets to acquire trouba, and have carlson/trouba-risto-nelson-borgen as our right side going forward.
