Top tier players make 2nd tier players so much better (look at Guentzel, Sheary, etc on Pitt) Philly has too many 2nd tier players, they need to make a splash to let everyone know they want to be one of the big boys... I know, I know they have to sign Konecny, Simmonds, Hagg, Sanheim and Provorov. Not my problem-make it work Hexy. I am tired of being 2nd Tier

I'm not saying I want Tavares, but he certainly isn't going to stay on the Islanders. How many other team have crazy cap money and has a good future can sign him? I count maybe two or three.
