The problem i see is that petrovic isn't an uprade just a younger polak. I know you didn't give up much for him but i would hope that especially seeing they cleared cap for practically nothing they might be going after a bigger fish. The age range though is what they should be looking for.

Luke is where analytics go to die. Leafs aren't paying a 2nd for him. They offered a 5th. If anything it'll be 4th and 7th or straight up 3rd and even that's pushing it.

A younger Polak is a great description of Petrovic

If the Leafs can get a 7th in 2112 for Polak I'd be happy. He has been god awful this year.

My wish would either be Colin Miller from VGK Or Tyson Barrie from AVS.

Fair enough but I don't see them needing Barrie, he is more offensively gifted and they probably want a hjalmersson or tanev type guy. I also don't think they are moving a 1st which they would probably need to do in order to get a top 4 guy.
