I had a feeling people would say that. I was thinking about changing it to a 3rd and Watson.

What about a 3rd and Aberg? I feel like Aberg has more value to the Canucks and is in need of a change of scenery. Plus, I think Watson has a bigger role on the Preds than Aberg, but that's just my opinion.

I guess you do have a point there Aberg would appeal more to Canucks than watson. I really like Aberg so that is why I didn't trade him. I like him for his speed, and he was a dangerous threat to my Penguins in the playoffs.

I understand now that I see your point of view. I just think it would be mutually beneficial to Aberg and NSH. Aberg is hurried here and hasn't come together as hoped, so maybe a change would be good for him. Warty is our bet penalty killer and adds physicality. Plus, he's not slow as it is, so as a Preds fan, I'd rather trade Aberg than Watty.

There's no way we'd let Vanek go for that. First off, we wouldn't want Watson. Secondly, if you're giving up a 1st for Grabner, that's along the lines of what we would want for Vanek too. He's having an amazing season on a depleted team - on pace for 25 goals and 60 points.

Saying that, I can see Nashville making a move for one of Grabner or Vanek. I'm not sure you really need both though, especially if guys like Hartnell and Jarnkrok are pushed down to the fourth line.

Ya that makes perfect sense a fresh start is always good for a rookie. I do think that Watson is a strong power forward also. It is good to know he is a penalty kill giant! I would have never guess with him.
