What the heck? NYR is looking for a prospect and a first round pick for Nash, and obviously even more for McDonagh, and you offer bunch of contracts you don't want to keep for them?

Realistically, it's gonna take probably Soshnikov, Leivo and a first for Nash, and for McDonagh it's gonna take two prospects like Bracco and Kapanen, a first and a second.

You won't get star players for one first rounder, 3 fourth-liners and 3rd pair d-man.

Take martin out and add JVR ? Evens up the salary.

Yeeeea it wouldn't go through because of thr state of NYR and there isn't enough to say yes to. If you were to drop Martin and Komarov for 2 of Nylander, Marner, or Liljegren then it would be a start. I would even say Rangers would be willing to part with a few more picks (exluding 2018 and 2019 1st). We wouldn't even require your 1st at that point either.
