Way to much for a guy shooting under 3%. I like Domi and watched him in London and definitely think he would be great on the Jets as a 3rd line wing (or slot into centre when need be) but he hasn’t exactly upped his stock level, although playing on an absolute tire fire of a team doesn’t help. I could definitely see him scoring 40-50 points on a line with Lowry/Roslovic. Most I would give is Stanley/Samberg and a 2nd, maybe toss Petan in as a sweetener rather than lose him to waivers next year. Keep our first round picks, we will need them!

Petan is the only irrelevant piece of the OP's deal.

If you're giving Arizona that much might as well try for Dvorak too. Seriously

When a guy is shooting under 3% is typically the best time to buy. Only a matter of time before the luck factor turns around and his price goes way up.

The lack of necessity means we don’t have to overpay. Can’t imagine anyone giving a kings ransom for Domi, including a first round pick

Danos value has never been lower...much like Domi. Petans value outside the organization isn't remotely close to domi and the 1st is going to be 25th-31 which, isn't worth as much as it seems. Domi is on a bad team and is only 21. His upside is very high and he's posted 50+ points in a season. The value may seem high, but that's only from a WPG fans perspective.

If ARI wanted to put Domi on the chopping block (which they don't) they would have put him on a line with Keller; I guarantee his output is boosted and his stock skyrockets. They are tanking. If I'm John Chayka I simply move lines around; Domi/Keller/Fischer would be a deadly line combination. Everyone in the NHL knows what Domi is capable of if he gets out of the fire. They have their eyes on Dahlin like every other bottom feeder in the league right now.

You ever ask yourself why Keller is playing the 3rd line on his offside? You ever think they are trying to limit his production and the amount of wins the Yotes bring home? You ever question why Rinaldo is 2nd line LW ahead of Keller? This isn't rocket science ladies and gents; it's called tanking...
