I like the trade,. Could go with a third round pick and it would still be alright at this point. Think you overpaid Maroon, Grabner, Benning, and definitely Nurse though.

You overpaid on Nurse. The rest is about their market value. Based on Leon and Connor though Darnell could get that much easily if he continues to play the way he is. The trade isn't good for Edmonton. While you save money on Coyle over Nuge, unlike Nuge he is better suited for the wing. Then the salary space you gain is cut down by having Spurgeon over Klefboom. Klefboom is bigger then Spurgeon and their stats are similar as they are both more offensive players though I believe that when Klefboom is healthy and playing his A game he is better defensively. Nurse-Larsson and Klefboom-Sekera then probably draft a player like Adam Boqvist if we cannot get one of Tkachuk or Zadina
