Caps Need 3RHD

Description
I think Bowey has a bright future but he's just too young to carry Orpik. I'd prefer to find a partner for Bowey but no way that's happening so Caps need a RHD that's good and cheap to play with Orpik. No big names like Shattenkirk like last year, Caps need to keep their important picks.

List of cheap, good RHD that are UFAs over the next 2 years and that should be attainable by their team:
Wideman
Biega
Gryba
Jensen
Hunt EDIT: been pointed out that Hunt is a lefty.
Heed

I'd prefer someone more offensive than Biega, Gryba, or Wideman. Jensen and Hunt are probably the best fits, doubt Heed is available from SJS. I think Jensen is more important to DET than Hunt is to VGK so I went with Hunt.

Another option is going after lefties to play on the right side. It isn't ideal but these 3: Barberio, Davidson, and Auvitu are all very very very good. Barberio is actually playing on the right side right now for COL so he could be a great fit.

Gudas is a righty who might be available. I don't think they'd want to trade inter-conference, but he's a solid defensiveman who's probably gonna be on the block.

Agreed. He's one of the few defensive defensemen that actually helps his team drives play. Would love him but like you said, inter-division trades aren't easy.

I just looked at his AHL stats, didn't realize he was. Always just saw his NHL stats which weren't mind blowing. Would love to have him!
