The Rangers will get at least a first for Kevin Hayes , they arent trading him for a cap dump and a 3rd. That Nylander trade would kill the Oilers

Montreal has both a 1 and 2 Center in their system and even if not Hayes would not be someone that would even by on their radar. That Nylander trade is an over payment.

i've seen some pretty bad trades for Hayes.. but damn you just iced the cake with that one.
First things first, I would only consider a Lucic to the rangers trade if a top 10 pick was included... with nothing going back. That contract is a horror and should not be touched with a 50 foot pole.

Second, its Chiarelli. If anything you will be giving us Draist back if you want to pawn of lucic and get hayes (idk how they'd make the cap work)

third, realistically if you want hayes it would have to be a first rounder and a prospect. he will be worth that at the TDL to many contending teams
