first off, the way things have gone this year, it looks like Donato should be getting 60K in providence, not 3 million in the NHL. I think that contract is oddly steep.

I would love the Bruins to get Slavin, but it would take more than that. He's such a good d man and he's on such a good contract with great term. I just think that if you call about Slavin, they say that unless one of Pastrnak or McAvoy is involved, the conversation is over.

If Backes isn't on LTIR, I hope he's moved.

Agree with above. Unless Donato hits a hot streak and scores around 15 goals this season, he won't be getting 3 mil, more like a 2 yr, 1-1.25 mil contract.

This lineup also becomes very young on the forward front if these moves were to be made. Between lines 2-3 the oldest player is 25.
