PK was horrid last year. Beagle is a solid faceoff man and a guy who helps on PK right away. Grabner solid PK and can provide depth scoring a speed on the wing. Schenn knows the system and purely depth signing. The best teams are strong up the middle Statsny provides quality depth and 5mil is not a crippling price tag for a center that can play up and down the lineup. Trading Neuvy for a pick is a pretty common consensus. However, I don't think we go with Hart or Lyon. Hexy signs Hutton to compete with Elliot for starting job and brings him in on short term deal. Trading Laughton I was not sure on his value as he shows flashes, but is widely inconsistent. With additions of Beagle and Statsny up the middle he was the odd man out. I'd love to deal Gudas, MacDonald, Weise, and Lehtera but I don't see it happening. Also do not be surprised if we sign Slava Voynov, sleeper pickup if we can pick him up. His suspension is lifted in July and Hexy has a prior relationship. Potential top 4 dman for the next 5 years.
