It's probably fair but i would pass personally. Too high of a pick to move for one year of Patches. Make it similar to the Kane deal or something and it might be more appealing.

Yeah could do conditions based on if he resigns or not.

might make it more reasonable or if Rubtsov was the main piece to get back I'd do Rubtsov/2nd/3rd. it's just easier for teams like WPG or SJS to give up their 1st rounder when it's a late 20's pick and not a top-15 pick. If you wanted Rubtsov and #14 (STL) and I was Hexy I'd be shooting for someone with term like Chuckie or Gallagher. Just my thoughts. We will see what other Flyers fans think soon.

Rubstov/14 for Gallagher

Rubtsov/19 for Chuckie/2nd (WSH)

Rubstov/2nd (conditional on team success) for Patches

... not sure if they are all fair but those would be kind of an outline of what i was thinking if that makes sense.
