in on Maroon

Bruins aren't going to be shifting two better options in DeBrusk and Heinen down to the 4th line to fit Maroon in. The trade is fine (value wise), and I like the 3rd rounder being conditional on something that won't happen. Anders Bjork is probably not going to play for Boston this season again, unless injuries occur. He's better off returning from IR and going to Providence and playing down there while he develops his game. I'm just having a hard time fitting Maroon in this lineup. I guess you could go with something like below:

Marchand -- Bergeron -- Pastrnak
DeBrusk -- Krejci -- Heinen
Maroon -- Spooner -- Backes
Schaller -- Kuraly -- Nash

But you're doing a lot of roster shuffling at this point.

Yeah i agree with you about the trade. I like msroon he would fit with krejci i think and if the bruins have a choice theyd move spooner for him.

I don't see the Bruins moving Spooner for Maroon. That's a backwards type move. Spooner still holds value for Boston beyond this year. Maroon walks.

I don't think he is a fit. If we can add a veteran like Sharp or Comeau for depth and not give up much, it could help us for a run.

How do Sharp of Comeau help? Like extra forward depth?
