Hard pass. All of the package from Habs haven't been that good this season, whilst Lindell and Faksa are playing their career-best seasons.

Only player I'm interested in that trade is Benn, and I'd offer a 4th round pick for him, tops. Pacioretty is good, but since we can't afford to resign him, Dallas shouldn't have any desire to make any kind of overpayment for 1,5 years of him.

And Spezza will not waive his NMC for Habs.

FYI- Dallas would be OK to resign Paccio ( Hamius + Methot out -8M) = 16M$ to resign: Seguin+4M, Paccio+3M, Honka +2M, Shore+2M, Janmark +3M for 14M $.
After Hanzal contart expire.... But I agree Spezza wouldn't waive it for MTL... Only if MTL trade him back to Pens and retain some salary!

After Hamhuis and Methot are out, we need to replace them somehow, which is gonna cost a lot. We currently have only one decent d-prospect coming, Heiskanen, and he will be replacing Lindell if that suggested trade is happening. Also, Hanzal's contract will last one year longer than any of those deals, making things extremely hard. There's a possibility to resign Patches, yes, but it will lead to many problems after year or two.
