Stamkos won't sign with Ottawa at a 5.5M AAV. If he was willing to sign for that, he would have resigned in Tampa.

If Sens fans want to sign him, you're looking at 10M. His 40g/80pts will demand 8M or so from contenders. Add in 1-2M overpay for coming to Ottawa, cause that's what Ottawa will need to do until they are serious contenders.
