Hopefully Lindholm's asking price goes down with how unimpressive he's been in Vancouver. If a team gets him on a short term deal, he'll be a fantastic add to a top 6 somewhere.

Don't know that we need Kane - I think addition by subtraction and internal adds will be the way to go with forwards this off-season (Pacioretty gone opens up a spot for a guy like Leonard). I think the defense needs to be majorly overhauled - move out Jensen, TVR, and let Bear be the 7D next season unless he has an awesome training camp. Alexyev probably deserves a shot elsewhere. Keep Fehervary and Sandin on the left, add another lefty in UFA maybe, someone who will clear out the net front. Add another righty and let Iorio come up and play full time minutes. Carlson won't get moved, so despite his flaws, we're stuck with him.

Yeah Kane was signed because an Ovi-Strome-Kane line would be AWESOME but I think you make a good point with giving younger players a shot.
