Mayfield should definitely not see the ice for a few games. Give him a chance to dislodge his head from his ass, and show the team that "accountability" isn't just a bull **** buzzword.

As far as the forwards go, Fasching isn't the solution to anything, and they need to just play Ollie every day (at least until the trade deadline) to see whether he's worth keeping around after this season, even if it's only as a cheap 4th line wing that can spot in on the second PP unit as needed.

Fasching still hurt so no. Also mayfield needs less ice and less pk time. Completely benching him for games makes no sense. Hes a bottom pair dman and hel figure it out. Half the calls at metlife were soft calls. PK bails them out once this convo doesnt even happen.

Mayfield has been due to get benched since his first game without Trotz. He has played eveyr single game he has been healthy for since. He needs to sit a game at least. In that situtation you need to know better and its been a theme for this team all season.

Wahlstrom too. He looks obsolete at least Fasching knows how to skate. I didnt know he was not healthy.
