This seems the most realistic imo. But do you really think Vesey will ply first line?

I never see rangers fans do this, but why not but Goodrow over vesey? Goodrow is actually good, he was just a weird fit in NY imo. He could really thrive in a first line role though. Plus, Vesey really isnt good imo. Hes a solid depth piece but nothing more while Goodrow has proven to handle top 6 numbers pretty well. Just a thought tho

While I 100 percent agree Goodrow is better vesey was very good defensively when in the top 6 last year and this is more of a start and see how they do. Panarin and zib played together the last few years they have always been hurt defending. Imo the point of the 4th line is to hit defend and be a pest. If your playing matchups I feel comfortable with the 4th line starting in the defensive zone knowing if bonino gets kicked I have Goodrow. This keeps the kid line together as well but with more minutes which should be a positive and if they are not playing well via matchups that third line can all just get moved up to play that matchup game. Goodrow and cuyelle are fast hard hitting players trocheck and kreider are fast 2 way players

Regardless the top 6 on the right side has to be two of Kakko, Laf and Wheeler. Preferably the first two if Laf can actually make the transition to the right side.
Goodrow is terrible in the top 6 and always drags down whoever he plays with. Vesey should only be a 4th liner but in a pinch he is the better option to move up the lineup if needed.
