The big question that needs to be answered next year is how much does stammer make. If he continues to take a discount then this team could potentially be better than the 2 Stanley cup teams. The depth, youth and the fact almost every player would be in or near their prime. A lot of people have been celebrating the “downfall” of Tampa. They clearly aren’t familiar with our roster. As the cap keeps going up and up these players that have been here since the start will still be locked up. Don’t be suprised if Tampa has the money to add another star to the top 6 next year.

Stamkos- stammer is the deciding factor on whether or not this team will continue to be successful. I don’t see him making less than 5 mil but if he is able to fall within 6-7.5 I think that is a win. This is the leader of this team and nobody is more deserving to get paid but I sure hope he takes less to continue to grow his legacy in Tampa.

Hagel- I want this guy to stay in Tampa the rest of his career. And I hope JBB does too. I don’t think he gets more than cirelli due to the fact they are fairly similar in roles besides the fact Tony is a centre so he is more valuable. I see hagel in the 5.5-6.3 million dollar range for long term

Tampa should have around 3-4 million to spend on free agents if my contract prices are near fair range. Don’t expect a big long term contract next year but when the cap is up to 92.5 I will expect a big signing that July 1
