This team is definitely worse in the first 2 years, which is the goal I wanted to accomplish. Getting that higher draft pick the next 2 years means a lot, especially when it's lottery picks. They acquire another 1st for 2019 from MTL who could be bad if they don't re-sign Neal and Perron.
This looks like a 25ish win team with lets say 15 OTL's. That'd be about 65 points on the year which would be 2nd last place if every team performs like they did last year. They get some good picks and build with a lot of younger guys, while spending wisely for UFA's.
Notable Prospects in the Minors:
RW Alex Tuch
RHD Erik Brannstrom
C Cody Glass
LHD Griffin Reinhart
RHD Noah Juulsen
C Nick Suzuki
Theres a few more but those are the top guys.
This was made by a Bruins fan. I tried to be nice with what I gave in the trade including the Bruins, but we need a LHD and could possibly spare Vatrano. I gave us the pick which would be top of the 2nd round and added in some fillers towards Vegas.
The WPG should definitely happen. They have an excess of wingers and Sbisa and Matthias make a perfect swap with a little added from WPG.
The MTL deal is for the Canadians to go all in. I don't like the Canadians much, but this would be their chance to kind of "steal" a championship and end their long Cup drought. Bringing in Perron and Neal while still fitting under the cap would be huge. Losing Plekanec isn't terrible as he had a poor year last year. Juulsen is a good prospect and the picks could be good. If MTL signs these guys to extensions that are reasonable, I don't see a clear winner in the deal. If Perron signed a 4x4M and Neal signed a 4x4.5M deal it'd assume both teams would be happy with what they received.
