Description
Kunitz is over the hill and Sutter is a good player. Moving both pieces now for some talented young players makes a whole lot of sense to me. If we move Kunitz we are going to have to eat some of his salary. Adding Saad will cost us the 2016 first rounder and I am fine with that. I don't believe Chicago can match 7.1 mill. Scuderi has got to go!

They can't sign Saad. Signing him to that contract would cost the Pens their 2016 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks, which have to be the Pens original picks, not ones they acquire from another team. Since their 2016 2nd was traded for Winnik, they can't sign Saad for anything higher than $5,478,986 (compensation to Chicago would be 1st and 3rd), which Chicago would match.
