I see you read the same rumor as we here in Hockeytown have. I'd make your deal for sure. The one thing I don't understand in the rumor is the whole "if there is a certain prospect available" stipulation. I do believe that DCat only gave two teams he'd sign long term with, and I don't believe the other (Dallas (or was it Nashville?)) can beat the 17th pick. Not unless Yzerman is the one waiting to see who's still there at 17? I agree, just make the deal! Unless they want to do the whole "We have a trade to announce..." excitement on draft day! Either way, I hope this deal gets done, and if you do get Zadina, I hope he works out for you, he just couldn't get things going here! I really wish Holland would've stuck to the rumored plan that draft and picked a D. It would've been Hughes or Bouchard. Oh well! Good luck tomorrow night!
