Future

Seems like too little for Barbashev and too much for Howden.
I liked Howden on the Rags, and I knew he was playing well now, but is it locking him in like Sissons well?

Barbashev has been playing out of his mind recently and could for longer with the Knights, but this is a 1.25M raise from his last contract that keeps him with a contending team. Howden is playing great and is a fantastic fit for the Knights, and he has a higher ceiling he is trending towards. Basically, he is becoming another Chandler Stephenson. The 3M is to make sure he signs with the team long-term, and is a contract I think would age really well for the team.

That all makes sense, I like Howden, but he never was consistent enough to get an elevated role. I hope he can continue to pop off
