    On top of that, you're trading RNH for picks and prospects only? No other top 6 player?

    This. Also Talbot will probably get more than a $750,000 raise. The Lucic and Russell contracts already look bad in 2019-2020

    Talbot will be a 31yearold goalie. Ya he will get a raise but not a huge one. It cost them one 3rd pick to get someone like him. Can they do it again yes.

    Nuge was traded for a player not picks.
    Nurse and Benning are priced well for a two year bridge contract. (Their contracts expired the previous year)
    Russel has a tradable contract the next year and will be gone allowing for a raise to Benning and nurse of about 3.5-4 each.

    Ya an offer sheet may come but does it usually?
