My goal of making this roster was to make it the best it can be. I think the first think that needs to be done is for the Caps to trade Grubauer for draft picks or a prospect. Replacing Grubauer with Copley with save some much needed cap room. Copley was the Hershey Bears player last year and is ready to be an NHL backup. I think Brooks Orpik needs to move back into the top four and paired with John Carlson. That was a really good pair for the Caps two years ago and I think it can be good again. The last defensive pairing should be compiled of Chorney, Djoos, or Bowey. That will also save money for the Caps. I have Justin williams accepting a paycut but we shall see if that happens. Otherwise I expect the Caps to sign a forward like Nail Yakupov or a defensemen. I think the bottom six forwards will comprise of Vrana, Walker, and Connolly. This roster is over the cap but not by much. I feel like
