Duchese at 3rd line center is silly. Who blocks shots on your PK? A $6 million dollar man? I'd move him to wing on Sid's line and sign a real 3rd line center. Sounds like Cullen isn't coming back, and on July 1st I'd replace him.

Why would Florida make that deal? Hornqvist's contract is up this year and Demur has 4 yrs left. Florida is not in a cup contention and this trade wouldn't get them there before Horny go UFA and either leaves for a contender or stays for a LOT of money. Like $6m per to babysit the team, along with Jagr, until it grows up. You'd have to sweeten the pot with Sprong or another prospect that might give them more of a future. Kuhnhackle is decent, but he's unlikely to grow much more or else Guentzel and Archibald wouldn't have played over him.
