This would be a good move to trade Carter while his value is the highest it will be

Mtl wouldn't do that carter brings about the same amount of points as Galchenyuk

Carter has put up 60+ points the past 3 years, Galchenyuk's highest point total in his career is 56 and that was the only time he ever put up more than 50

Galchenyuk has been progressing very steadily though, and is expected to eclipse 60 points this upcoming season.

At this very moment, Carter is obviously the better player, but for how much longer? One, two seasons until he starts stagnating/dropping?
